PIC Investment Group'soriginal corporation, Prairie Industrial Chemicals Ltd., was founded in 1976 as a small chemical distribution company with one supplier and four available products. Within the first four years this had grown to a company with sales in excess of five million dollars and branch offices and warehouses throughout the prairie provinces. By year 15 the company had diversified into chemical packaging, chemical manufacturing, transportation, import and export, and property management, with combined sales exceeding twenty six million dollars. Since this reorganization PIC Investment has facilitated many acquisitions, invested in several emerging businesses, and financed internal growth within the original companies.
